Volunteer coordinator Kim and Market Manager Kristina proudly display the Morton Grove Farmers’ Market banner at this afternoon’s Fourth of July Parade along Dempster Street in Morton Grove.  The parade route went right past the Farmers’ Market site!

If you received a coupon from one of our dedicated volunteers at the Morton Grove Fourth of July Parade, don’t forget to redeem it ($1 off when you spend $10 or more at a single vendor) by AUGUST 4th.  

Didn’t get a coupon?  MG residents, watch for one in your mailbox later this month!

This Saturday, 7/7 is Bike to the Market Day!

Live the GREEN life! Ride your bike to the Market for:

  • free bike valet parking
  • free ice cold bottled water for cyclists
  • free bike helmet safety information at the Welcome Booth
  • free drawing for bike helmets for all market guests (even kids!)

 

Welcome to our newest vendor, Spencer’s Jolly Posh Foods, which offers freshly grilled sausages, fried eggs, breakfast sandwiches, as well as delicious local meats.  Tava Indian Restaurant and Sweety Pies Bakery will offer prepared foods as well.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help at the July Markets (Set up, Welcome Booth, or Tear Down).  If you are available on July 7, 14, 21, or 28 any time between 6:30 am – 12:30 pm, please email volunteer@mgfarmersmarket.com.

Parking for the Market is located in the MB Financial Bank South lot, the American Legion Civic Center lot, the Historical Museum lot, the Harrer Pool parking lots (both East and West of the Pool).

The Morton Grove Farmers’ Market is presented by the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce.
