Spring Market Success & Tava – Farmers’ Market Fundraiser Tues, May 22

Thanks for making our Spring Market such a success last week, despite the rain!

Approximately 600 people came out for our Spring Market last Saturday.  We received a lot of positive feedback about our new location and all of our vendors.  Our featured vendor of the week was Blankenship Farms.  Thank you to Golf Middle School students for performing at the Spring Market, Shot @ Life for promoting immunizations around the world and awareness about global health and child survival, and our Platinum sponsor, Bath Fitter – Chicago North.

Reporter Cathryn Gran shared a review of the Spring Market “Rain doesn’t put damper on Morton Grove farmers market preview” and Photo Gallery in the Morton Grove Champion.

Niles-Morton Grove Patch Editor Pam DeFiglio posted her wonderful article and photos from the Spring Market in “Farmers Market Gives Spring Preview.”

Join the fun Saturday Mornings at the Farmers’ Market!

Volunteers are needed at the Farmers' Market Welcome Booth and other areas throughout the Market!

Come enjoy the fresh air, fresh produce and all the tasty treats the market has to offer all while helping out our local farmers’ market.

We are starting our third season in an exciting NEW location – 6210 Dempster St., Morton Grove.

We have over two dozen vendors signed up this year! We are GROWING – and we need YOU!

  • Date(s): Saturday mornings May 12 and June 2nd – October 20th (except June 30th)
  • Market Hours: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Volunteers needed for the following areas;

  • Set-up and Tear Down- assemble pop-up tents, set-up tables & chairs (light duty), good with chalk? sidewalk artists wanted!
  • Welcome Booth- Smiles a MUST! Welcome people to the market, hand out materials, wagon rentals, etc.
  • Kiddie Korner- Assist our young artists with the craft of the day Face painting
  • Ideal Hours- 6:30 – 9:30 am 9:30 am – 12:30 pm 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

These hours don’t work for you? No worries … happy to have you whenever you have time.

Families, organizations, and businesses may sign up as a group!

We are happy to write community service hours letters if needed.
